Sydney Knitters – WWKIP June 18th, 2011

It’s about that time of year again, where like minded people gather, pull out pointy sticks (or a hook), a ball of yarn and have at it.  So whether you’re a seasoned knitter, or you want to get started, bring your gear and come on down!

Location: Customs House, Circular Quay, Sydney
Time: 1 – 4 pm
Date: June 18, 2011

How to get there:
31 Alfred Street, Circular Quay, just opposite the ferries. Easy access, very central.

Please bring:
It’s free. Lots of prizes and competitions. Just bring your knitting and friends**. Newbies are welcome – if you’re considering knitting, come along. If you’re a knitter who wants to meet new knitters, come along. If you’re a knitter who already knows lots of knitters, come along. International and interstate visitors are welcome. The more, the better!

The backup plan is:
It’s an indoor venue with plenty of space. It’s close to public transport and we have catered for it being winter.

This KIP is not knitting exclusive
There are free bathrooms available nearby

**I originally posted about food and drink, please see Sally’s comment below.

  1. Hope to see loads of you there. Just to point out, you CAN’T bring your own food and drink – Customs House rules not ours. Tea/Coffee/Nibbles will be available at a very reasonable charge.
