What would you do?

I have a small conundrum.  Towards the end of winter I decided to knit a pullover (silly, I know), but make it elbow length sleeve, and quite fitted, so it could be worn during the cooler spring evenings.  Now, the weather has jumped from ‘pleasant’ to ‘hot’ and I don’t know that there are going to be too many cooler spring evenings (if last night was anything to go by).

Should I frog what I’ve knitted (I’m just past bust shaping), and wait until the beginning of Autumn to see what size I am (planning on losing a fair bit of weight over the next 6 months), or keep going and have it as a ‘fat knit’?  I love the yarn, and it’s taken 2 years to find the perfect pattern for it……

I have some lovely bamboo/cotton that I can knit a summery top out of…… Hmmm.

Spread the love

Is it top down? Is your bust likely to get much smaller even with the weight loss? Only reason I ask is mine does nothing but increase in size even with weight fluctuations.

I’d put it to the side. If it’s too big in Autumn, you can frog it then. If mother nature’s decided to have a laugh and leave your bust the way it is then you can continue on.

To the frogpond and dont spare the horses…lifes too short to knit something that might not “fit”
