I have a new wheel. She’s an Ashford Traveller. Bought 2nd hand from Virginia Farm Woolworks, she’s very pretty! She’s been stained with what looks like a Wenge stain. She has 4 bobbins, and I scored a 2nd hand Jumbo flyer & bobbin in the deal!
I plan on taking her apart, and giving her a good once over with some fine sandpaper, touching up the stain where it needs it and a darned good polishing. She’s a single drive, which should give me more control over my spin, which I’m keen to learn!
I am very happy with my new baby 😀
