I pride myself with the fact that I am a pretty patient person. When dealing with people, with projects, with problem solving. I would be quite happy to sit and spin a thousand metres of silk thread, or handsew a dozen hems. Apparantly when it comes to information and waiting on other people, I’m the complete opposite!
I’m waiting on hearing about a sponsorship that will enable me to get to a bloggers conference in Melbourne, a competition I have entered and whether or not I get to go to a product launch on Friday night (yes, THIS Friday night). I’ve spent the last 2 weeks making a multitude of phone calls (both from home and on the move) trying to find a particularly hard to find tech product (which I ended up finding.. YAY).
I’ve been fervently checking emails and Twitter only to end in frustration. I’m not liking myself much at the moment as this is just annoying behaviour on my part.
How am I going to remedy the situation? Probably drink a nice big cup of tea and force myself to do something else …
After lunch…
For now, I’ll keep fretting.
