It’s not often that I’ll see a PC and wish that I could just pick it up and bring it home. It happened to me last night, though. It was a wonderful blend of tasty specs and aesthetic beauty.

The one I saw in store had been running video all day, and the CPU was not running hot. It was warm, but the combination of the fan placement and the construction has certainly helped it keep its cool.
I sampled some Alice in Wonderland 3D with the special glasses, and while I’m not a huge fan of “home 3D TV”, it was really a pleasure to watch. The glasses were comfortable to wear, even over my usual glasses. Lightweight and unobtrusive.
The only drawback is the price, which is just under $3000. I’m sure you could negotiate a couple of hundred off the price, but it’s still an expensive package. BUT IT’S SO PRETTY! It has been put together so well, and the image quality is amazing. I would consider getting this computer, even if I have to alter my desk to accommodate it. Did I mention it was pretty? It also seems to be exclusive to one particular store chain, so price comparisons are out of the question, at the moment. I plan on calling Samsung to find out more.
*This post is my opinion only, I have not been given one of these PC’s (I WISH), so I can’t comment on its long term performance or power usage. It’s just one of those things that I saw in the store and it immediately went on my mental wish list.
